How do Blue Moon Bakehouse gift cards work?

Choose an amount from $25 to $200, purchase online, and the gift card is delivered digitally to the recipient's email. They can use it in-store at Blue Moon Bakehouse or any Double Dribble Group venue.

Can I use a Blue Moon gift card at other restaurants?

Yes. Blue Moon Bakehouse gift cards are redeemable across all Double Dribble Group venues including Little Foragers Market, Midnight Shanghai, Ramen Ria, Boom Boom Chicken, and more.

Do Blue Moon Bakehouse gift cards expire?

Gift cards do not expire under New Zealand consumer law. Your balance remains available until fully spent.

How quickly is a digital gift card delivered?

Digital gift cards are delivered instantly via email after purchase. Perfect for last-minute gifts.

Does Blue Moon Bakehouse do custom cakes?

Yes. We make custom 8-inch cakes to order with 48-hour turnaround. Choose your flavour, add a personalised message in chocolate, and order online.

Does Blue Moon Bakehouse do catering?

Yes. We offer office catering boxes with croissants, pastries and specialty coffee. Order online or contact us directly for large orders.

Gift Card Terms

1. Using your gift card

Gift cards can be used online at bluemoonbakehouse.co.nz and in store at 70 Riccarton Road, Riccarton, Christchurch.
Quote or enter the code shown on the card.
You can use a gift card across more than one purchase until the balance is used up.
If your order costs more than the balance, pay the difference by any method we accept.

2. Expiry

Gift cards are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on the card and in the email that delivers it.

We will not shorten the validity of a card after it has been bought.

3. What gift cards cannot do

They cannot be exchanged for cash, and unused balances are not refunded.
They cannot be used to buy another gift card.
They are not reloadable.
They are not a debit or credit card and do not earn interest.

4. Lost or stolen cards

Treat a gift card like cash. We can usually cancel and reissue a registered card if you can give us the code and proof of purchase. We cannot replace an unregistered card, and we are not responsible for a card that is lost, stolen, or used by someone else.

5. Refunds and cancellations

A gift card purchase can be cancelled and refunded before it has been sent or redeemed.
Once a gift card has been delivered to its recipient, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
If you return a product you paid for with a gift card, the refund goes back onto a gift card, not to cash or a bank account.

6. Where these terms sit with New Zealand law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

If Blue Moon Bakehouse ceases trading, gift cards may become unredeemable. This is why we publish the expiry, and why we encourage you to use a card rather than save it.
